About Us

ACUTA K.K. is a Tokyo-based consulting firm supporting senior leaders and executive teams navigating transformation at the intersection of technology, creativity, and culture in the technology and entertainment industries, including music, games, and film.

We don’t consult on change. We become part of it.

ACUTA works with organizations where rapid technological evolution, global collaboration, and creative complexity place increasing demands on leadership judgment. In these environments, transformation is not only about adopting new systems, but about how people think, decide, and create together.

Human creativity, accelerated by technology.

This belief sits at the core of our philosophy. We see technology—especially AI and data systems—not as a replacement for human capability, but as an accelerator of creative thinking, informed judgment, and meaningful execution.

Our approach is grounded in embedded partnership. Rather than advising from the outside, we work inside organizations alongside leadership and teams to bring clarity, alignment, and momentum across AI and data-driven transformation, creative and product strategy, and organizational and cultural change. We focus on deep understanding of system structures and limitations, avoiding superficial adoption or exaggerated expectations.

ACUTA prioritizes human connection, psychological safety, and internal capability building—ensuring that transformation can be governed, owned, and sustained. We partner selectively with organizations that value purpose, responsibility, and long-term impact, supporting transformation not as a trend, but as a deliberate act of leadership.

  • Transformation today is not only technical, but it is deeply and ultimately human. My role is to help leaders navigate complexity with clarity, responsibility, and trust. At ACUTA, we don’t consult on change. We become part of it, working alongside teams so that the transformation is understood, owned, and sustained.

  • I believe creativity is strongest when it is supported by structure, and technology is most powerful when it serves human judgment. Real change happens when people feel safe to think, question, and create together. That is where leadership matters most.

  • Creativity is about solving the right problem in the right context. Creative solutions don’t need to be groundbreaking just to appear innovative, when that innovation doesn’t serve a purpose. I focus on building environments where people can do their best work, supported by processes that improve interaction and collaboration. In fast-moving industries, real progress comes from alignment and a clear, shared direction.

  • Decisions are never isolated. They shape how people work, communicate, and deliver. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or ready-made productivity systems. They often create the appearance of progress without improving actual output. My focus is on helping teams gain clarity by aligning people, processes, and objectives, and by building workflows that serve the work, not the other way around.

    • Creative leadership in games, advertising, TV, and music

    • Aligning process, vision, and execution through mentoring, workshops, and hands-on, embedded work with teams

    • Designing creative organizations built around team uniqueness and aligned with the company’s objectives

    • Team building and talent development
